Solya wrote every song on the album, recording the collection with a small team of collaborators using analog equipment over 10 days in Lockhart, Texas. The album explores chaotic love, rebellion, and the isolation of growing up queer in a small, conservative town. Solya celebrated it's release with her first headline tours of North America and Europe, selling out numerous shows and appearing at major festivals. Through it all, she has remained committed to her roots. I don't feel that I need to move to a big city because I draw inspiration from where I grew up.
