Sound Bend Sessions: A Summer of Discovery, Community, and Live Music

At Sound Bend Records, we believe the best music experiences happen up close.

That’s the heart behind Sound Bend Sessions, our intimate concert series designed to connect artists and audiences in a way that feels personal, authentic, and unforgettable. No giant stages. No barriers. Just incredible musicians sharing their craft in a room full of people who genuinely love music.

As we continue celebrating our first year on William Street, we’re excited to announce an incredible run of upcoming performances featuring some of the most exciting independent artists touring today.

July 11 — Iris Blue & The Eyrly Neptunes Core

We’re kicking off the summer with a night of immersive indie sounds featuring Iris Blue and The Eyrly Neptunes Core. Expect lush arrangements, thoughtful songwriting, and the kind of performance that rewards active listening. These are the artists you’ll be telling your friends about before everyone else discovers them.

August 8 — Heyzeus & Reminisce.X

Genre-blending, boundary-pushing, and impossible to categorize, Heyzeus & Reminisce.X bring a fresh perspective to modern music. Their performances combine elements of hip-hop, soul, alternative, and experimental sounds into something uniquely their own. If you enjoy discovering artists who challenge expectations, this is a show you won’t want to miss.

August 15 — Sound Bend Records One-Year Anniversary

One year ago, Sound Bend Records opened its doors inside De Nolf’s Barbershop with a simple goal: create a space where music, community, and culture could thrive together.

Since then, we’ve hosted artists from across the Midwest and beyond, built a growing vinyl community, launched Sound Bend Sessions, and welcomed thousands of music lovers through our doors.

Join us as we celebrate one year of records, live music, friendships, and community. Expect special guests, great music, and a few surprises along the way.

August 16 — Paul Spring

Known for his cinematic songwriting, intricate guitar work, and emotionally rich performances, Paul Spring creates music that feels both intimate and expansive. His ability to blend folk traditions with modern experimentation has earned him a devoted following and critical acclaim. In the intimate setting of Sound Bend Sessions, audiences will experience every nuance of his remarkable artistry.

Why Sound Bend Sessions?

Every ticket purchased helps support independent artists and strengthens South Bend’s growing creative community.

Our goal has never been to be the biggest venue in town. We want to be the room where you discover your next favorite artist.

With limited seating, carefully curated performances, and a listening-room atmosphere, Sound Bend Sessions offers something increasingly rare: the chance to truly connect with live music.

Whether you’re a longtime vinyl collector, a casual listener, or simply someone looking for a unique night out, there’s a seat waiting for you.

Tickets for all events are available now at www.soundbendrecords.co.

We’ll see you on William Street.
