ROOTED IN COMMUNITY
OUR PARTNERS
We’re proud to partner with local makers, artists, and small businesses who share our passion for creativity and kindness.
Monostero x Sound Bend: Strengthening the Local Vinyl Scene
At Sound Bend, collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and our partnership with Monostero is a perfect example of that spirit.
Monostero began as a small business driven by a passion for music and a commitment to helping independent shops thrive. What started as a humble wholesale operation has grown into a trusted record distributor with a catalog of over 40,000 titles, offering everything from the latest new releases to timeless classics.
By working directly with small record stores like Sound Bend, Monostero makes it possible for local shops to access diverse, high-quality records at affordable prices, leveling the playing field against major retailers. This partnership helps us keep our bins fresh and exciting — bringing you the artists, sounds, and genres you love while supporting a network of independent music lovers across the country.
Together, we’re proud to keep vinyl culture alive and growing, one record at a time.
Sew Loved, Inc.
At Sew Loved, Inc., our mission is to empower individuals especially women from communities across Michiana through the art of sewing and quilting. Founded in 2012, our community-based lab offers hands-on instruction in alterations, long-arm quilting, embroidery, and custom sewing, helping participants build valuable sewing and tailoring skills. These opportunities encourage creativity and confidence while also opening the door to paid, mentored work experiences that serve as meaningful job pathways in sewing and textile careers.
We are proud community partners with Sound Bend Records and Sewd Love, collaborating on custom embroidery, jacket making, band T-shirts, sewn patches, totes, and many of our other apparel goods. Through this partnership, learners gain real-world production experience, while local musicians and businesses receive high-quality, locally made merchandise.
While nurturing talent and strengthening community, Sew Loved is helping introduce self-employment and entrepreneurship, boosting local economic opportunity, and uplifting lives right here in St. Joseph County.
