Sound Bend Records x music town

Music Town powered by Juke

At Sound Bend Records, we believe a thriving local music scene starts with collaboration. That’s why we’re incredibly grateful to partner with Music Town powered by Juke, an organization helping connect artists, venues, businesses, and music fans throughout our region.

Originally launched in Elkhart, Music Town has expanded into South Bend and Goshen with a mission to make discovering live local music easier than ever. Through the Juke platform, music lovers can explore performances happening across the community in one convenient place, giving artists greater visibility while helping audiences discover new venues and unforgettable live experiences. The platform is designed to strengthen local music ecosystems by connecting fans, venues, artists, and communities in one shared calendar and discovery experience.

Earlier this year, Music Town powered by Juke awarded Sound Bend Records a community grant that has already made a meaningful impact. Their support has allowed us to bring even more live music into our shop, expand our programming, and welcome additional independent artists to our intimate Sound Bend Sessions.

COMMUNITY PARTNER

Sew Loved, Inc.

At Sew Loved, Inc., our mission is to empower individuals especially women from communities across Michiana through the art of sewing and quilting. Founded in 2012, our community-based lab offers hands-on instruction in alterations, long-arm quilting, embroidery, and custom sewing, helping participants build valuable sewing and tailoring skills. These opportunities encourage creativity and confidence while also opening the door to paid, mentored work experiences that serve as meaningful job pathways in sewing and textile careers.

We are proud community partners with Sound Bend Records and Sewd Love, collaborating on custom embroidery, jacket making, band T-shirts, sewn patches, totes, and many of our other apparel goods. Through this partnership, learners gain real-world production experience, while local musicians and businesses receive high-quality, locally made merchandise.

While nurturing talent and strengthening community, Sew Loved is helping introduce self-employment and entrepreneurship, boosting local economic opportunity, and uplifting lives right here in St. Joseph County.
