Desir D'insolence [Limited Edition]
Description
The one who shook the top 50 in the 80s (with her hits "Vere première fois", "Johnny, Johnny".) released a new album in the fall of 2000: "Désir d'insolence", the seventh album that she mostly writes and composes. Insolent, she is, attacking poems by Paul Verlaine ("Autumn Song") Guillaume Apollinaire ("Le Pont Mirabeau") and Alfred de Vigny ("La Mort du loup"). The synthetic atmosphere it gives them punctuates a record that is generally rather rock, where it's lyrics have a taste of disillusionment, like "Le Monde change".
