Drummer Jenkins, Plas Johnson on tenor, pianist Ray Johnson, and bassist Duke Harris. Mixing together swing, bop, and early R&B while looking toward rock & roll. Highlights include "It Had to Be You," "Air Mail Special," and "G.J.'s Drums." This album is worth picking up for the fine playing of Plas Johnson.
