Here is a remastered CD edition of a now classic and long hard-to-find LP with jazz versions of well-known melodies from The Great American Songbook. All have been ingeniously arranged by Rosengren for this ensemble of selected jazz stars. Trumpeter Maffy Falay, horn player HÂkan Nykvist, pianist Gˆran Lindberg and saxophonists Krister Andersson (also clarinet), Tommy Koverhult, Gunnar Bergsten and of course Bernt Rosengren himself, who also appears on alto flute. The album is a highlight among the records recorded during a 60-year musical career by Rosengren the forefront of Swedish jazz!
