The Pity List [CD]

The Pity List is the much-anticipated, second full length release by Chapel Hill, NC's reigning pop music kings, The Mayflies USA. Produced by Chris Stamey and the band, this new recording features 16 powerful new songs, and additional performances by friends/fellow area musicians (Laird Dixon, Sharkquest; Mike Daly, Whiskeytown; Margaret White, The Comas; etc.). Picking up where their last record (Summertown) left off, this new album continues with their strong melodic songwriting and dead-on harmonies but jets into a into a more raw, live sound which has developed with their steady east coast touring.
